A simple way to play.

Put a copy and a pen at each place. Let guests solve together while they settle in, or give pairs a short round before sharing the answers. Participation can stay casual; it does not need to be a test of who knows the bride best.

  1. Ask the host or guest of honor for the exact answers before writing clues.
  2. Start with 8–12 answers that family and friends can work out together.
  3. Keep the answer key with the host and make guest copies from page 1.

Bridal shower crossword clue ideas.

Use specific details rather than generic wedding vocabulary. These are fictional examples to adapt, not facts about your guest of honor.

Replace the examples with your own facts. The editor connects 4–18 answers and checks the puzzle before checkout.

Write for both sides of the guest list.

A shower may bring school friends, colleagues and relatives to the same table. Give each group a way into the puzzle: a pet, a favorite meal, a hometown or a familiar hobby. Save the very specific shared memory for one or two clues.

Choose whether the puzzle is about the bride, the couple or another guest of honor. Use that choice consistently in the title and clues. A single name works in the editor; you do not need to enter two people.

Make the game fit the shower.

Citrus Social pairs a light serif with an engraved citrus branch. You can swap in a bow, flowers or cocktail glasses, change the type and ink, and move or resize the ornament. The look is a starting point, so a citrus brunch can become a floral tea without rebuilding the puzzle.

Paper swatches simulate your own stationery. They do not print a colored background. Use real colored stock if that is part of the shower design, and test the clue text on that paper.

Print one before making the guest set.

Choose US Letter or A4 before checkout, then inspect the crossword and separate answer key. Print page 1 at Actual size / 100%, portrait and single-sided. Check the longest clue and write into a few cells before copying the set.

The $7 purchase is the personalized two-page PDF, not printed cards or a giant sign. No account is required; keep the purchase email or use purchase recovery if you need the file again.

A little help finishing the set.

Use the shower question prompts to collect facts, or check the PDF printing guide before making copies. Lost your file? Start with purchase recovery.

Make it about your people.
